Tracking

This class is for those handlers/owners who want to explore outside the box when it comes to fun and engaging activities to do with your dog.
We will cover the fundamentals, such as; equipment, track laying, learning to recognize when your dog is “on” the track vs when they’ve lost it, how to start the track and how to end it.

Prerequisite for tracking class is completion of our beginners obedience class.

A food/treat motivated dog is a must for this class.

Please note: once classes begin, class deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What you need to know:

• Class is 6 weeks long.

• We meet once a week for about 2 hours.

• Cost of this class is $200 and is due at time of registration.

• Class location changes. Location will be given in a detailed email sent out after registration.

• Flags and an article will be provided.

Vaccinations required:

• Rabies

• Distemper

• Parvovirus

• Bordetella
  

What you’ll need:

• Treat pouch.

• 6’ leash.

• Tracking harness (padded).

• Large bag full of pea sized hot dogs, cheese and your dogs kibble all mixed together.
